hey im a jew and i like that q
i would like to add, that from the very beginning we have had strong leadership. moses was our first leader and he was only interested in the good of the people. we learned to trust our leaders. something that is unheard of these days.
we have always believed in education. from the very beginning of time we have had 'yeshiva's" (schools). education is the pillar of a grounded existence.

Because they milked the sympathy of the Holocaust, have weirdly religious Zionists at the head, and go into Congress?
Thankfully the whole "F33L S0RREE 4 MEEE!!!1111eleven" Holocaust thing is starting to ebb as people can critisize the policies of Israel without being called a Nazi. Sometimes I think Jews just use the Holocaust as an excuse for any action of Israel. Kind of like George Bush and 9/11.

Because they are smart. Smart enough to have infiltrated and taken over the US government. Not only are they the second largest lobbyist, they are in some of the most powerful positions in the Bush Administration.
They are so smart...that they've been able to take control of the people who run our government; set the agenda for American foreign policy, and become the nation that receives the largest share of American taxpayer's money!
I think it's because of their location in the middle east. Our government needs them....they are our presence in that region. Without them, it would be harder to take over that region and steal their oil...and gain the power and control that comes with that.

jews do very well for two reasons....
one they place a high value on education
and two they stick together and help each other out more than other groups of people!!!!
i'm not a jew... but i do respect their values!!!

with the back up of US any country will be powerful, its a shame that they started to abused the power, and this war will last for sometime wait n see

Well, if you believe that is true, it must be because God favors them.
I hadn't noticed they were any more powerful than any other large religious group. Why are Catholics so powerful ? Why are Moslems so powerful ?

bacause after WWII everyone felt bad for them, so the UN gave them Israel and the US gave them all our weapons technology and alot of money
