I think that depends on the state of your relationship with him now. Are you good friends now or did he randomly come up and say it? I don't see a big problem with it. Unless he has intentions of acting upon these feelings. If it bothers you, then just ask what the purpose of him telling you that was. And then make your feelings clear. Chances are he might have had to get it out just to have closure. Communication is really key in this situation. Good luck.

Love never dies... just like energy does not disappear... it just changes form. Once you love someone as a partner, you only have three paths to follow; first: you love each other that way, second: you end up hating the person (you can only hate what you love and despise what does not matter to you), third: you come to realize that you love that person anyway.... even when you are with someone else.... in your case... maybe he means a strong "friends" love. My gf and I keep in touch with our ex's (after a year or two after separating). There is a feeling that you can only describe as love when you can talk with that person and be cool. Of course there is the odd "obsessive" type who swears never to give you up..... watch out for those. Otherwise, if you feel cool and you don't think there is a second intention from his part.... just be friends.

if he truely feels that way he will leave his signifcant other- regardless of the fact that u may or may not take him back. He will prove his love amoung all other things, but for u i recommend figuring out if u love him to - if u have a future with him, and if ur willing to leave the one ur with to be back with him if he becomes single again for u. If he isnt willing, then he doesnt love u the way he says he does. If u cant love him, then tell him.

It might not be proper to tell an ex or a friend that you love them in a romantic way, while they are with someone, but it never hurts to be told that you are loved.
It only hurts to be told, you are not loved.
Since they just expressed their feelings, and did not club and drag you into a cave, I would enjoy the comment. What you do or feel about it is all up to you.

Well,
He can say that he loves you all that he wants to.
Its just he and you can't do nothing about it,
Meaning that you and him both have someone already.
Make sure he knows that. Take him to the side sometime and tell him hey.. you know we both got people now but you can still love me. But just don't expect to keep me close to you forever cause i've moved on.
Make sure you straighten this out with him.

Well how would you have felt if when you all was dating and you knew he was telling his ex-girlfriend he loves her???Thats probally how your alls b/f / g/f feels!!!Just always think about the other persons feelings to.......oh and if you all are still telling each other that you love each other maybe you all should get back together??? ...........it just depends why you all broke up to start with!!!

yes someimes love doesnt go away easy you can be in love with someone but know they arent right for you and it also depends on the kind of love were speaking of here love like i care about what happens to you love or i still want to ***** kind of love

Never. Weather he means it or not. It puts you in an awkward position. Especially if you are happy in your current relationship, then you get confused. I would leave him alone.

no and if he really loved you would have broken up with his girlfriend and then told you he loved you. If he wasnt willing to break up with her first because i guess it was a risk he wasnt willing to make and thats lame.
