I have a 6 week old daughter and she skips bowel movements every now and then for a day or so. I called the doctor and he said they don't worry about it unless it goes on for more then 3 days. I also found out that its ok to give the baby a teaspoon of karo syrup the clear kind in the bottle and this helps them to have a bowel movement. But don't panic this kinda stuff happens and its normal. Just watch closely to be sure it dosent go past 3 days. If so, call your doctor.

I wouldn't worry to much if its just one day. Babies can go 3 o 4 days without a bowel movement. If it goes longer than that or you start to get too worried, just get a little teaspoon of Karo Syrup and put in in some water. Give that to the baby and he/she will have a bowel movement before the bottle is done. If you still don't see a change, call your pediatrician.

How old is your baby? It is normal for some babies to not have a bowel movement for a couple of days if he goes more than 3 or 4 call a doc.

sug dont worry some babies clog up, depends on if they are breast fed or formula fed, they will get lined out, i would start worryin after about 4 days, the baby may need a baby enema, i used those on my kids and it worked really well

Call your doctor in the morning - they don't mind these calls. As long as he is not in any pain but if you are really worried go to the ER
