I mean Books and Authors.. I don't really know if I'd consider that the best category to post in. For example, poetry wouldn't fit in that category. Since unless your a famous poet, who wrote a book of poems, you would not post in that category.
So what's the best category for posting writing? Shouldn't there be a category called "Writing"? Or did I miss it somewhere? Thanks

arghh.. i don't want to learn to deal with discrepancies! come on yahoo answers.. work to better the system. I'd rather not conform to every system that just happens to meander my way.

You're looking at the Writing section. I'm a bit confused too but that's how Yahoo categorized Writing, integrated it with Books and Authors. I'm assumed they assumed authors also meant writers. It's a bit stupid, I know, but you'll have to learn to deal with it.
