i want to make money with babysitting.not my mom

Take some child care classes , and a CPR class
(most towns have both these for a small fee )
and then put the posters up & remember bullitin bords at stores , you will receive more business if you take it seriously , ensuring the safety of other peoples children while in your care is serious business .
...gosh she dosen't have to put her age or photo on the poster ... just her number , her mom could screen the callers .

Yes. You could get a call from a pervert. That actually happened to a young girl in this area. A man called her and said that he had a child that needed to be watched. When she went there, he raped and murdered her. Never accept a job from someone you don't know. You can't be too careful these days.

Don't post flyers, because like someone else said, you never know who's out there, and you don't want a pervert to call you. Word of mouth references are much safer. Have your parents tell trusted co-workers or friends that you're looking for work.

Yes, It is a very bad idea. Why would you want everybody to know who you are and give them your phone number? You should only babysit for people that you already know. Your mom is wrong.

yeah its a bad idea, there are some real freakos out there in the world these days. word of mouth would be safer for you, your mom and the whole family!

No, but you know what works better because I do it all the time, check out craigslist.org and hit your state and city..you will get so much work!!

You need to be more specific... Does your mom want to babysit? or does she want you to get an opportunity to work for money? or does she need a babysitter for you?
