Seriously, It's my sister's birthday! She is the most awesome person I know. My sister is turning 32 and I am turning 36. We are having a joint birthday party, like when we were kids. I've got to get her a GREAT gift. She loves frogs (psst! she already has enough real frogs) and she's an engineer. Oh yes and she lives with her partner a physical therapist.
Any suggestions?

I love the idea of a stripper, that is great! And the reason I describe her as a lesbian, is because she doesn't like girly stuff. I think it's awesome that my sister is a lesbian! And I like the word lesbian. Womyn!

i don't know if money is an issue, but how about an ecological trip. exploring the rain forests of Peru or something like that. it could also just be a day-trip kinda thing. back to nature, hiking or kayaking etc...depends on what area you live. you could coordinate with the partner and go halvsies. there are also companies that do spiritual lesbian only trips or cruises............presents are so exciting, good luck finding the perfect gift!!!!

Get her what you would get anyone else turning 32. Why do you have to describe her as a lesbian? As if that somehow changes what you would get her......i mean only if you were going to have a stripper come to the party then you'd have to order a woman stripper instead of a hunky guy stripper but seriously what's with the label? Get her a bottle of vodka :)

I'd go for something way out of the ordinary. Something that has nothing to do with frogs or engineering. Get something to let her know what a terrific sister you think she is. A gold charm w/ big sis/lil sis is always nice. She could wear half and you could keep the other half. They sell them in all the jewelry booths you see at the malls, with the charms!
