Is it possible to experience death in your dreams?

Question

Whenever I dream that I am going to die, I usually either wake up or change the dream half way through. Has anyone actually died in their dreams? And what was it like?

Since no one has ever actually died and come back to tell us all about....how would you know from a dream what death was? Your dreams are not some magical, mythical trance. Dreams are controlled by your own subconscious mind so whatever you dream about concerning death are your own thoughts about it.

No it is impossible because studies show that any extremem dream like falling of a cliff getting shot or just plain DYING will cause you wake up. If your body didn't wake you up you would be so scared you would get a heart attack and die for real.

I guess you'll never know, for sure the person would not be alive to tell their experience cause they would be dead don't you think. But yes to experience near death I have, its an out of body experience, it is when the spirit jumps out of the physical body for the moment in time, depending on the degree of pain the physical body is experiencing, determines the time the spirit stays out hanging in limbo. Until the physical body comes right then the spirit is able to return, if the physical body does not recover then death occurs, as the spirit can not return.

I have news 4 you, we all die every evening when you go to sleep , you never now if you are going to wake up the next day . So be good to the people you care because who knows?. Always said good night or kiss you love one , you never now if you will open your eyes the next day.

some people die when sleeping, maybe that counts...

and ues ive had that dream too, but the symbolisms are very different, i was murdered...
