It could be baby acne, or it could be something else. You can call your doctor if it concerns you.

My daughter had baby acne but it was only on her face.

I have a 6 week old daughter, and she had tiny red bumps which were caused from a blanket that I had not washed before using and she was having an allergic reaction to it. Be sure to wash all of your new things and watch what types of perfumes or colognes you wear because the baby can have very sensitive skin. This also could just be a heat rash, or possibly baby acne. If it dosent go away after a few days call your doc. Best wishes

Of course if it gets worse or doesn't go away you'll call the doctor. Most of us here are just giving you our best guess from experience, not education.

If he/she seems fine other than the bumps it sounds like it might be prickly heat. Babies get it when they're hot and sweaty, which wouldn't be hard to understand if your weather was as hot as ours today. In that case, a nice soothing bath might help.

I found a description at http://www.drgreene.com - don't know much about that site but the description made sense. You might also look on webmd.com

As I doubt anyone on here would be able to answer as well a doctor can (even if someone answering is a doctor) I would recommend taking your little girl to the doctor so he can check it out. With all these nasty things like menengicocal around, its better to be safe than very very sorry - so get offline and go to the doc. Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question when it comes to your children so dont think your being silly and just ask!

Babies have sensitive skin. Keep the baby clean and it should be alright. My daughter had pimple like bumps on her nose. They went away with a little extra care from a soapy cloth during baths. If you are seriously concerned, call your pediatrician.

I really don't know..I've heard pimples and then baby bumps...and then I've heard heat rash. Well ease your mind...my baby who is 4 months old has them to and has had them since birth. My doctor and friends says it is normal and they will go away. Well now he doesn't have as many but they are still there and he even has some on his arms and fingers. Relax, it's okay.

It's a problem that a lot of babies have. My son had it. The doc gave me some cream to use. It usually clears up on its own, but you can get a cream if you want to. Just ask the pediatrician. Good luck and don't worry.

If they look like pimples and don't seem to to be bothering the baby..i am sure it is just part of baby acne. if they are bugging the baby set up a doctor's appointment. DON'T POP THEM! :-)
