Even if you did know where they were, it may not help either since e-mails have nothing to do with where one is in a physical sense. There are some websites that give you e-mail addresses -- this is probably one of the most comprehensive ones: http://www.theultimates.com/email/ but I believe the person has to register their e-mail address if it is going to appear. I was looking for a distant cousin once and typed her name in google just to see what would come up and lo and behold, I found her e-mail address there. That's not to say it will happen with everyone but it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. Good Luck!
