does it hurt really bad when you get one done... tell me the experience... because im getting one in 2 weeks... and wanted to get myself ready .im getting mine on my lower back....thanx

Depends on where you get it. The more fat in the area of your tatoo the less painful. The more bone, the more painful. But some people also are more tolerant to pain. But im sure its well worth the pain, if it looks sexy.

Getting a license plate hurts. It's one of your more sensitive areas. Suck it up and do it anyway. If you really want it, and you're ready to live with it for the rest of your life, then put up with the pain.
If it were excruciating, less people would have them.

They hurt over bone and nerve endings. I know a lot of people that have them on their lower back. I don't have one there, so I couldn't tell you, but some of them said they hurt, some didn't. I can tell you that it hurts over bone and nerves, but after a while of all those needles in your skin, you go numb.

i agree with honie,. I have four tatoos one on my left breast, ankle, lower back, sholder. The one on my ankle hurt the worst i wanted to kick the guy, but i didnt. the on eon my lower back didnt hurt at all but everyon eis different. But i still go with the fatter the area the less it hurts the bonier the worse it hurts.

you'll have to find this out for youself...everyone has a different tolerance to pain, but personally....HELL YEA, THEY HURT!!!

well all i can tell you is if you can take needels than it wont hert as much i don't like needel but that didn't stop me
