You have more power in this situation. He propositioned you, and that is even more inappropriate than cheating. Tell on him, and he will get fired. Is there proof you were cheating, or just his word against yours? If not, try to get his comments to you on tape and give that to the dean. His credibility would be ruined, and it would appear that he is lying about your cheating...

As a college professor myself, let me say that I am disgusted by this! NO professor should ever do something like this, and I personally hope that person is severely disciplined and/or fired.
I would definitely suggest you go to the Dean immediately and mention this. Perhaps you're not the only one this has happened to. Sexual harassment is very serious business and we all know that there are very serious consequences for engaging in it.
You're there to learn, not perform sexual acts on your professors. And even if a student walks up to me and says "I'll have sex with you if...," I would say NO! Sexual harassment, whether it's between students, students and teachers, staff and other employees, is a definite no-no.
I don't blame you one bit for not going back to class, and I'm sure the Dean will sympathize with you as well. You're paying good money to get an education, and this type of inappropriate behavior is something that I feel should be dealt with immediately.
And don't feel bad about ratting on this professor. I've known students who didn't want to complain for fear that they'll pay a price. NONSENSE! Nobody deserves this, and when people stay silent, there's no reason for the person to stop because he or she knows they can get away with it scottfree.
Those who have the courage to speak up prevent this from happening to others. And if you don't get satisfaction from the Dean, then I would definitely take it the next level by going directly to Administration (Provost, VP, etc). But I honestly think the Dean will definitely step in here and do something.
Please don't think we're all like this, because we're not!

That's horrible. I was in class and a woman was caught cheating on a History exam. The teacher was intimidating. and scary and I'm a guy. He also talked about himself like he was a pervert.
Don't you have a DAD? I would meet with him and settle things. He wouldn't teach another class.
Is this for real? I can't believe people do this, but I guess so. Would someone risk their entire career for that?
Women have been known to cheat, get caught and retaliate.
Where are your friends? How old are you?

Well since your an ex.prostitute maybe you should just give him head since your such a pro at it. You should be use to sucking on old guys. Better yet tell the boyfriend that you stole from your friend. Gotta get that degree to support those 7 kids. This is gotta be so much stress on an 18 year olds shoulders. If your gonna post stupid pointless questions at least keep your stories in line.

Yes, my advice to you would be to stop posting false questions. And if you do pose false questions, make them about a subject that may actually take place in present day, not in the 1950's. You want to be topical when asking false questions. Everybody knows that everyone stopped talking about professor misconduct in the 80's when it stopped happening. Try rephrasing the question, but take out professor, and put in Priest. That should do it.

What a jerk. Digusting pervert. He's probably old and bald and fat and everything disgusting. Anyway, that's not the point. The point IS, you should not do what he wants. You ought to report him. Don't allow this digusting idiot to go scot free.
You're doing yourself injustice if you does what he want. Don't stoop so low. It's a big mistake.

well if your situation was real then i would just get an audio recorder and catch him saying some thing ****** up thats would be convinceing if you wanted to report him for sexual abuse. you like in the movies. then present the evedence to the cops and blame it all on him. if he says you cheated on your test , just deny it. after that you will be ready to get on with the rest of your life.

i would go to the dean, fess up and turn the professor in... you may face trouble, but you will feel better in the long run and they are more likely to believe you if you come clean. the logic is -- i told something terrible that can get me in trouble and i am willing to face to consiquences, but i have to report this, why would i lie?
you will feel bad at first, but better about yourself
