Have you had sex or inserted anything into your vagina? The vagina does lubricate itself, but without a doctor looking at the discharge under a microscope, it's impossible to know if it's an infection or something normal.
Yes, it will be embarrassing to ask your mother about it. But you need to ask someone and your mother probably is the best one. It isn't like you haven't talked about it to others already, right? Ask her and then you can stop worrying about it.
Please don't wait - just do it.
Good luck sweetie!

Vaginal discharge is very normal....Some discharge is normal for most women. As long as it isn't excessively heavy, and as long as it doesn't have a bad odor, it's probably just a normal discharge that you shouldn't worry about. If it bothers you, wearing a panty liner (extremely thin pad) might help. If it is heavy or bad smelling, you should see a doctor about it, as it could be an infection of some kind. It's nothing to be embarrassed about though, it's just a fact of life. I hope this answers your question. Good luck to you.

YOU HAVE TO TELL YOUR MOM!
It could be a yeast infection, which is normal and can even be caused by sweating with all the heat lately. Talk to your mom and see your PEDIATRICIAN. You don't have to see a OB/GYN unless it's a bigger problem than your doctor can handle.

I would say just tell her like you told us or just ask if she can make you a reg appt with your dr and like ask her to wait outside and just tell your dr and they can check everything out and if needed send you to an ob gyn........ it might be nothing... and if you do have to go to the ob gyn just remember to relax during all the procedures... and be honest with them... if you are scared or nervous tell them that they will understand

That is very normal. Nothing to be concerned about, your body produces different secretions.
If you are concerned you can always make an appointment with your doctor. I doubt he/she will give you a pap smear unless you have had sex, since it can tear your hymen and can be quite painfull.
