I took a pregnancy test 2 nights ago, and it said negative. I looked at it today, and it says positive. Could this be wrong? Or am I actually pregnant? I took another test tonight, and so far it says negative. It is EPT, and the line that picks up the hormone is faint, and is not on the center... just close, and faint, but it is definitely there.

I missed my period by 2.5 weeks. I went to the doc, and he tests negative. I'm getting full work done, and hopefully the shot so I don't have to think about it anymore.

if it's negative then u shoul not read the test again after several hours because chemicals in the test can sometimes raise up and to bee seen as a positive however if the second test had two lines even the second very faint it meens that you are pregnant but try to do another test few days later just to be sure but you could be pregnant and I wish you the best of luck and trouble free pregnancy

Are you late? Do your breasts hurt? Have you had unprotected sex? Are you nauseous? You can be pregnant and the test say negative if you don't have enough of the pregnancy hormone. It could take up to two weeks after your late for it to show up on a test. Look at the other signs and take another test in a few days.

The longer you wait to look at a pregnancy test, the more inaccurate it could read. If it was negative, and a second is negative, you probably are not pregnant. The color could have bled down from the control portion of the test that changes color to signify the test is complete. However, nothing is certain. Try again later if you have reason to believe it is incorrect.

The answer is void after so many hrs, mins....look at the box, it'll say that. I would say you are not pregnant. That is from the first test. The second test, Im sorta confused about...you say it's neg, but then say there's a faint line....if there is a faint line (which means there should be 2 total), then it's pos....faint lines are pos. So I'd say go to your Dr, and think of it this way, if there's a baby there...YOU'LL KNOW....trust me, I have 4!! They dont go anywhere!! :) Good luck!!!

If you're pregnant, it should show up right away. Check the instructions but I think after so many hours it is not reliable. Wait a few days to a week and then retake the test. Or go to the doctor and have them do a blood test.

You did not say how long if at all that you missed you period. But it does not sound like you are. I would suggest to either wait till you miss a period or at least another week before taking another test.

All pregnancy tests turn positive after 15 minutes are so. You're not pregnant.
