yes, the point of any competitive sport is for the best team to win. Italy deserved the world cup victory.

No way, that call the ref made in the Australia match was so bogus and unfair. Italy should've been knocked out of the World Cup in that game.

First I believed they were lucky to play against easy teams, but then they beat Germany. I guess they deserved to be in the final, but I also think that if Zidane would haven't done what he did France would have won. At the end what counts are the goals.

Yes, why not ? They did everything what they could do for a win. Do remember they were 1-1 when they feel that now they should destroy the opponent mentally, and they did it when Zidane did that foolish act.
