Speaking as a man, and a gassy husband, all I can say is that its a way of asserting our dominance in the marriage. Also, women talk so much that sometimes that explosive release is the onl;y way we can make our opinions on certian subjects (womens lib, democrats, chick flicks) truly understood.
My only question is this? why do women have such small feet?
And I answer: So they can fit closer to the kitchen sink!
HAHAHAHA

First is it a constant problem ie every couple minutes or so. If so then you probably need to talk to a doctor. If the body doesn't expend gas when it is needed, serious problems can arise to the point of having to go to the hospital.
If it is just on a few occasions and usually when he eats certian things then try to persuade him to stop eating those particular items.
But also let him know it bothers you if you haven't already, sometimes people think the opposite of how the other person feels and never knows until it is talked about.
Good Luck

Make him talk more ... all of the talking will help relieve the stress in his digestive system. That is why women don't fart as much as men. You all keep the gas levels low by exercising the diaphragm and esohpagus through the vocal chords.
Seriously, honey, this won't change. Do your best to figure out that he married you because he got tired of holding in his farts while you were dating. And he picked you ... yes, YOU ... as the woman he could trust to accept him just the way he is.
Another thing you can do is give him Pepcid AC. He may be reacting to garlic or onion or something. A lot of us guys do. If it bothers you, buy the Pepcid AC.

What is causing the gas? If you can find the cause, it is easier to treat! A doctor may be needed to help.
Is it seriously malodorous? If so, it could be an intestinal infection with something like C.Difficile. Antibiotics alone take care of that one.
Is it swallowing air with pop or with a straw? Cut back on the pop and concentrate on not swallowing air.
Is it caused by any one food?
If that is the case, then Beano, GasX or Phazyme may make a difference.
Does he have any conditions like Irritable Bowel Syndrome? If so, there are some things that can help that.are by prescription. Questran and Dicetel are examples of these.

WELLLLL.. your husband is a god in my eyes for blaming it your little ones. And in my country farting is publis is seen as an act of charity and honor and usually the person is saluted with a 50 gun salute and then given a small dog to eat. Thus continues the circle of life.

This sounds like a problem caused by excessive unrelieved pressure.
This can be cured by surgery. Tell your husband that if he doesn't come up with something on his own, that you're going to use a butcher knife to open the pathways and let the gas escape quietly. That alone should fix the problem.
Oh, yeah: ;)

i have the same problem too. Seriously, stick a cork or tampon up his a$$. Do it forcefully. Superglue works to keep it in there. He will never do it again.
Also, dont use the strap on for awhile so he will close up if you know what I mean.

Encourage him to do some aerobic exercise to burn off that energy in a productive way. This will reduce it.
