Well, I am a fan from the very start of his career. His broodiness, private ways, the way he views Hollywood, his looks, his movies are good. And He is a very good actor. I did not jump on the bandwagon.

I do not love Johnny Depp a lot. I think he is skinny and dirty and wierd. Those are not qualities that I find attractive in a man.

Mostly for his low profile lifestyle as an actor.
There's nothing pretentious about him say like Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, etc.
He's also proven to be very versatile in the roles he plays. Which I think works to his advantage. He knows how to convey an honest, real performance that engages the audiences' attention PLUS the fact he's quite easy on the eyes is not too bad either, lol.

I think it's cause he's gone so far.
1. He was trying to be a rock star
2. Then he went to smaller things like Edward Scissor Hands
3. Then bigger things like POTC
But that's for the people that think about his life and not about how cute he is.

Because even though he is a pretty-boy movie star. He always seems to be in these excellent, off beat movies. He doesn't just stick to the usual crap.

Although I think people kinda go overboard for him...he's likeable & a great actor. Oh yes he's kinda cute.;)

he s sweet and nice if you ever meet him on the set of parties and he is cute and funny and a vever good actor
