i might add to those who beleive that stem cell research requires the destruction of a human life, if you were educated enough then you would know that stem cell research doesnt have to create a human but just use human skin cells to create what they need for the research, either research before speaking or go back to college and retake biology

It's a long story, and you wouldn't get it. I have a friend who could give you a two hour lecture on it. Naturally, he thinks Bush is too liberal. Personally, I think it's more about politics, but Bush is old enough, he could be seriously into his religion.

The stem cell proponents exaggerate their cause quite a bit, too, though. From your tone, I don't think you've bothered to consider both sides of the issue. Just buying into the propaganda from one political party is always a bad idea. Essentially, you represent someone just like my friend, only from the opposite side of the fence. His mind's already made up, and any facts to the contrary must be lies. Sorry, I don't respect that no matter where it comes from. You can still be a great person, but you really need to let your mind out for a walk now and then !

Amen and a Bout' time. I haven't the slightest idea why the Rep. think that he is something special. Bush is the most arrogant, pompass, non-collegiate President we have ever had!!!!!
He will veto that bill, because there is nothing in it for him, he is pretty much fo the big Oil Co. Watch Fahrenheit 911 and get the real take on the whole Bush Clan.

Maybe not, as much money on the National deficit the Republicans have waisted in the last 8 years (two Years with Clinton), I think waisting a little more on Bush and Cheney's impeachment would be worth it. There is more evidence right now for a proper impeachment more than any other President ever!

AND THERE IS OTHER WAY TO DO RESEARCH WITH OUT USING EMBRYO, AND STILL DO STEM CELL RESEARCH, THEY CAN USE THE CORD BLOOD FROM THE NEW BORN'S UMBILICAL CORDS, HOW MANY ARE BORNED IN A YEAR AND THAT'S A LOT OF BLOOD THEY DON'T HAVE TO USE EMBRYOS , THEY JUST WANT TOO
AND GET OFF BUSH'S BACK AT LEAST HE'S NOT A WIMP LIKE CLINTON WAS HILLARY RAN THE WHITE HOUSE WHILE HUBBY WAS PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK WITH HIS CIGARS,WHAT WRONG WITH MOST OF YOU IS YOU'RE NOT USE TO SEEING SOMEONE IN THE WHITE HOUSE MAKE A DECISION AND ACTUALLY CARRY IT OUT AND NOT BACK DOWN

I'm not a Bush fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I think he and his "base" see the bill as an encouragement for people to get abortions.

Ah... it's simply a political thing. There is absolutely no science behind it, whatsoever. It's all based on lobyists and hearsayers f'ing up the order of things. "If you make research legal, people will start advertizing to abort for science" kinda' thing. Bush is a 'tard.

Is it that long before the fool is gone? I hope the country lasts that long! When they leave office, most presidents are revered as elder statesmen and wise people. When Bush leaves office, they'll have a van from the zoo waiting to take him back to the monkey house he escaped from. I realize that's probably an insult to most monkeys - sorry.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want babies aborted just so they can be tested on. They were once living, breathing ******* people, who weren't wanted in this world, Isn't that bad enough for you, or would you rather we hang their baby entrails in some ******* town center so we can feed the birds too?
