Many of the people gave u wrong answer.
The fact is, the male mosquito feed on plant sap,
and female mosquito feeds on blood.
This is a fact. I m B.Sc. in zoology.

Both male and female adult mosquitoes eat nectar and fruit juice. The female of most species drinks a meal of blood in order to lay her eggs.

a male mosquito is almost like a scavanger it smells flesh and bites into it and dont leave your bananas out..you will have a mosquito kick back and do wash,..your penis and your coochy after sex or there will be mosquitos all over that ***...ask stacy bradley from stockton california...she always has sex with unknown men and will not bother to wash..

Mostly nectar with an ocassional blood meal.Or so they tell me.Females are the ones to watch out for.But isn't that always the case?!

probably protozoans in swamp water. good question... maybe larval stage supplies all that is needed.
