I have fair, freckled skin and I like a full coverage foundation that doesn't feel thick. Most that I have found, sweat off once I am in the heat. (I take kids to the playground) I'm in hot Texas weather and need a foundation that will still be there at the end of a day.

I also do not want to spend tons on makeup.

I gotta add that I'm not trying to hide freckles.. I just like an even coverage, which can be tricky with freckles. I also love the makeup that has sunscreen in it, as an added protection.

Philosophy's airbrushed mineral foundation, I used it when it was 100 here last weekend. I was so surprised that it was actually still intact & looked good at the end of the day. Didn't even need to touch up. The coverage is really good. It's @ $35 but you do not need a concealer or a powder (like a mineral veil). Or I you can go to Everyday Minerals in get a free kit & just pay S&H. I just got mine yesterday & it seems to work really good & the prices are really good!

Well I had the same dilemma. Now I use Bare Essentials. It cost a little more. But a little goes a long way. It is a fine powder so it doesn't go on thick and gummy like alot of those others out there. And the best part is it does not come off when i sweat. I live where it gets extremely hot myself. So far so good. I order it off of the net. Look it up and read about it. You might find out that it is the makeup for you. Good luck!

Eyeshadow: use a cream or liquid by MAC, Clinique, or Maybelline

Blush: Use a cream or the kind in a stick

Lipgloss: use revlon color stay or NYC which is great but doesn't last as long

you know. Freckles are sexy. Only thing not sexy is blemishes. I dont use foundation but I just use a powder over sunscreen. It gives my skin an even look. It looks natural too. I put some natural tone blush depending on my mood on top. Sweat doesnt seem to disturb the effect.

I don't like paying big bucks for makeup either. My favorite so far has been Revlon Color Stay. Has good coverage and my completion is the same as yours. Do you think we get more freckles in the summer? seems like it!!

I have the same problem and I've tried all the brands there is!! None work... However i found something so amazing.... Primer... My fav is Smashbox primer! It's like a clear gel that you put on your skin before you put on your foundation! it fills in your pores and ensures that your makeup stays on!! It's expensive E40 ( Elisabeth Arden primer E32) but it is well worth the money!

Stop wearing make up over those beautiful freckles, all make up does is clog your pours and gives you spots and tons of wrinkles by the time your 30, be yourself and let your skin breath.

I've used Covergirl Color Stay. It seemed to work really well. Also you may just need to try different products until you find the best that works for you, try getting some waterproof in differnt companies.
