My dogs only do it for two shows: "Dog Whisperer" and "Meercat Manor." They are ex-racing greyhounds. The bark back at the dogs. And I suspect they want to chase the meercats.

I babysat this kitten once when it's owners were out of town. She just LOVED tv. The funniest thing was when there was a football game on, she would sit on top of the tv and look down at the screen. Whenever there was a pass play, she would try to bat the ball out of the air. Very hilarious.

I once had a cat that loved to watch the Discovery Channel. She would sit in my lap and watch documentaries on birds, and then she would jump down and run over to the television, and bat at the screen with her paw, thinking she could get one of the birds. It was so funny.

My 3 year old wolf-dog LOVES watching tv. I leave the television on Animal Planet when I leave the house so she has the "company".
