William Hung
William Hung(1983- ) (Simplified Chinese: 孔慶翔, Traditional Chinese: 孔慶翔, Pinyin: Kǒng Qìngxiáng, Cantonese Yale Hung Hing Cheung) is a Chinese American college student and American entertainer who gained fame and notoriety in early 2004 as a result of his poorly received audition performance of Ricky Martin's hit song "She Bangs" on the third season of the television series American Idol. William Hung was born on January 13, 1983 in Hong Kong.
Originally from the Sha Tin area in Hong Kong, Hung moved to Southern California in 1993. He enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2001.

That was a bad and sad joke, I mean, I know discrimination is bad but the producers or whoever that is behind selecting candidates to perform in front of Simon et al, shouldn't have let this guy go. It's not OK to make fun of or expose people with different capacities. That was so out of the real tone of the contest.
