I have hundreds of them, but since they are made with invisable ink I can't tell where any of them are.

I have 11... the only ones that hurt me- were on bone... I'm a graphic artist, so I'm constantly creating things. My tattoos are my artwork, and I've designed 9 of them, and a few others for friends. Just make sure you don't pick one out on a whim, and make sure you really check out the place you are planning to have your ink done at. Talk to an artist before as well, and make sure to ask for pictures of his work as well. A good artist always keeps a portfolio... the LAST thing you want is a shakey, not so great tattoo... and as far a placement... it's you're choice. Keep in mind, however, your future. Where can you cover up a tattoo if need be (job, occasions, etc) and- would you mind seeing it constantly (wrist) or would you rather it be somewhat hidden (back)... you get what I'm saying... but take your time... Ok that's my spiel...

I have a total of 10 tattoos. They each have its own meaning for me. My favorite and most painful one is the one I had done on my lower back. This is not your typical female lower back piece it is pretty large and took 4.5 hrs to complete. But it was well worth it once it was finished. I think for me the least painful was the one I got on my right sholder blade. I suggest you figure out what tattoo you want first. Make sure it is something that has meaning for you and that you will always want as a reminder of that meaning. Once you pick out the tat, then decide where you think it will look best. If this is your first time try to put it someplace that is not overly sensitive for you. Everyone has different places on their body that is sensitive, all depends on your pain tolerance.

Tattoos are cool, they are not icky, tacky or over rated as some ppl believe. The best tattoo you can get is a unique one, one designed by you and for you only.

I have only one tattoo, around my right arm. I designed it, it doesn't have any sentimental meaning, it is my creation. Ppl always want to know what it means, but i never tell.

The small of your back is the best place to get one. It can be hidden if you need it to be, and that part of your body will change the least if you have a baby, gain or loose weight, etc...I have one. Like an idiot, I got it on my stomach BEFORE having two children.

It all depends on the person. On girls I think tattoos should be hidden and more secretive such as on the lower back for example. Plus I think they should be smaller but then again it all depends on the personality. On guys it's typical on the arms, chest, back and pelvic area. I have gone with a sleeve myself.

I have one, and am considering a second. I have mine on the left side of my chest, just below the collarbone, because I wanted it somewhere that a) wouldn't stretch out, b) could be seen by me without a mirror, and c) could be shown off or hidden as the situation required. A swimsuit shows it off, a tank top covers it.

I have 2 (they are both covering up other tattoos that I regret getting) They hurt over bone and nerve endings. Don't get them on your stomach or boob if you are planning to get pregnant. They are never the same after they get stretched out!

Just one was enough for me. Get it someplace where you can show it off when you want, or cover it up when you want. The back is a good place, but avoid the lower back, people tend to interpret that in ways you might not want.
