It really just depends on how much or little hCG you have in your system....the best thing to do is go to the doctor and get a blood test done.

If you've only been taking birth control for 11 days, you're likely feeling the effects of the birth control and aren't pregnant. It's likely that the birth control is what caused your periods to be shorter. When I was on it, my periods were lighter and shorter than they are off birth control. It takes your body awhile to get used to the birth control because you're basically putting extra hormones in your system. The odds of 4 tests being negative depends on when you took them. If you took them all prior to 10-14 days after you could have gotten pregnant, yeah, they're probably all going to be negative. It takes at least 8-10 days for the hCG to build up enough in your urine to be able to be detected. If you still think it's possible that you're pregnant and can't wait to take another home pregnancy test, go get a blood test if you can. Those are typically accurate by 8-9 days after possible conception.

I was also on generic Allesse and my periods were all out of whack. I was getting my period 2 times in one month and spotting all over the place. It was so annoying! It could very well be the bc making you bleed differently and feel differently. I don't remember really feeling crappy from aviane. I've been on lots because most made me sick! However, the bleeding was off. I hardly doubt that 4 tests could be wrong, especially if you took them a few days appart. I wouldn't worry sweetie. I am currently 9 weeks pregnant (don't worry I wasn't even on birth control anymore) and I thought I was preggo every month. When I really was, I knew it, there was no mistaking it. Crazy fatigue and sluggishness. I was exhausted going up stairs. Pretty sure you are ok!

I went through this exact same thing. I was terrified of being pregnant, and convinced myself that the tests were wrong. (I even took one at what would have been 12 weeks) As embaressing as this is to admit, In the back of my mind, I thought at 8 months I could still possibly be pregnant with periods, no symptoms, and a totally flat stomach lol. I think everyone goes through this, try not to worry. Wait it out a little bit and re-test, or see a doctor if you can. Good Luck, but I think youre fine. No matter what the outcome is God will never give you more than you can handle. :) Also, when I went through this, I had some odd/light seeming periods, too. I think stress can cause that.

You need to call your doctor. Although I don't think it likely that 4 tests could have a false negative, it is possible. The home tests never have a false positive but they can have a false negative. I'm sure your doctor told you that you have to be on the pill for at least a month before it's works. Being on the pill can change the length of your period, usually making it shorter. Bottom line, call your doctor.

It sure sounds like the birth control made your period lighter. If you took 4 pregnancy tests and they are all negative then I would say that you are definitely not pregnant. If you are still concerned, go into your health clinic and get tested. Don't worry though........I would be really surprised if you were pregnant. The tests are very reliable.

your probably not pregnant, and if you are it does sound to early to tell. Also some women done have enough hormone in their pee to be detected, which means all the tests they take will have a false negative, i have known women to even fail a blood preg test and still be preggo if you start getting more symptoms and miss your next period take another test and go see a doctor.
