Easily the Lakers, cause the Bulls are now way to old to compete against the younger Lakers: nearly all ´96 Bulls have retired but you have now Kobe in his prime and also shaq is not that bad. Lakers 4 - Bulls 0.

The Michael Jordan Bulls would easily win against the Lakers.

I think the '01 Lakers would pull it out in six or seven games.
The problem for the Bulls would be they have no one that could match up with Shaq. He would absolutely score at will against this team. Luc Longley would be in foul trouble by halftime in every game!
Jordan would get his 40 points a game, but that would be it for them. The only reason I would say it would go seven games is because eventually Kukoc and Pippen would get hot for one or two games, but that would be it. Rodman would be ejected in at least a couple games, due to the frustration of getting out-rebounded by Shaq.
Yes, Chicago won 72 games that year. But keep in mind that the league expanded that year to the current 29 teams, diluting the talent pool. That Bulls team wouldn't have come close to winning that many games in say, the 1980"s.
I think in this matchup, the '01 Lakers are just too strong up front for the '96 Bulls.

The 1996 Bulls may do very undesirable issues to the 2001 Lakers. The 2001 Lakers may all sit down interior the bathe attempting to bathe off the dirt from that journey. (i wanted to get extra specific, yet i comprehend for a actuality i'd get a contravention be conscious.) there's a reason Phil received extra Championships with the Bulls, that is call Jordan.

Who will win? What is this an upcoming game? Hypothetically speaking, now. Chicago was a better team, but they cannot match up with LA. No one could defend Shaq. And Kobe and MJ (although Jordan is better) would pretty much cancel each other out.
I would give the win to whoever has homecourt advantage, and since LA had 67 wins and Chicago had 72, I have to say, Bulls in 7 games.

Hey how can that be?
Both team had the same coach on their Years..
96 Bulls had Phil Jackson same as 01 Lakers.
But without a coach, If you ask who will win, Simply I think the Lakers, because in 01 Kobe was closer to MJ's game, I mean MJ was still better.. but do the bulls have shaq? Shaq couldn't be stop on 01..
So I think LAKERS would school the BULLS..
