-China got the crap kicked out of it by Japan until USA saved them.
-England got the crap bombed out of it by germany, and it would have been destroyed if USA did save them too.

Without Russia, China, and England, the war would have been lost to Germany. Al tho Stalin was much worse than Hilter, but the Russin people were a great allie to us. Without them , we would be speaking German now. Most liklely Hittler would have killed us all anyway. China and England were a very brave fighting allie also , we all needed each other. I wish that we could all be that close now.

China was already in the beginning of its rise as a Communist power. Mao and Chiang Kai Shek put their civil war on hold to battle the Japanese. Once the Japanese were gone, so was Chiang Kai Shek. It's up for debate how much the Japanese invasion assisted Mao's eventual victory. China tied up a large number of Japanese troops for the duration of the war.

The Soviet Union allied itself early on with Hitler and tried to help itself to the the Baltic States, parts of Finland and of course a nice chunk of Poland. (Everyone seems to forget that Stalin helped Hitler with Poland.) Stalin purges his generals out of paranoid meglomania and idiotically believes Hitler won't attack him. He thinks this, because Hitler was busy blitzing the West, which Stalin didn't give a rip about. Then the Germans idiotically decide to seek Lebensraum in good ol mother Russia. The Ukrainians, the Balts, the Belorussians, etc., etc. are happy to see the Germans until the Einsatzgruppen arrive and start ethnic cleansing...everybody. So now the Soviets are in a bad way and demand that the West open up a solid second front against the Germans to help them out. And we do, with enough Lend Lease to make the Soviet army mobile enough to deal with the Germans. And give the Soviets there due. 2 out of 3 Germans who died in WWII did so fighting the Soviets. Stalin's boys bled the Germans white.

England...hey England deserves a lot of kudos. The Brits never wavered. They escape at Dunkirk (Hitler stopped the panzers, presumably because he mistakenly thought, he could negotiate with the Saxon side of the British people and it wouldn't do to wipe out all the Brits at Dunkirk). The British successfully resist the Blitz (if only barely and because Hitler switches from reducing airfields to bombing people...bad idea). The British succesfully kick Mussolini all over Cyrenaica/Libya and eventually roll back the vaunted Afrika Korps. Britain and the Commonwealth are there at D-Day, Arnhem, the Reichswald and even kicking butt in the Pacific.

As Churchill said, "Never in the field of human conflict
was so much owed by so many to so few."

Might not this quote refer to England's role as she stood nearly alone against the Third Reich??

I certainly think so.

to answer this question would take about 2 weeks and 1000 pages of writing.

i will say this, history, as taught in the USA, pretty much ignores the contribution of the soviet union to WWII. i have learned, through independant study, that the USSR lost more people, and played a bigger role in the defeat of hitler, than either the US or GB.
