Well it isnt good for you to skip ANY meal!! But here is a few tips....breakfast should be your biggest meal of the day..so that you have the whole day to burn off the calories that you ate that morning...and dinner should be your smallest meal, because your body doesnt burn calories when you sleep. And running and walking is a great way to stay in shape....(if your consistent with it)..and drinking alot of water helps in MANY ways!!

If you want to lose weight, dont do it by skipping meals.. If you lose weight the wrong way it will come back just as quick if not quicker as how long it took to lose.. IF you do it the right way, you can achieve the goal you want in a period of time whilst saying healthy and not stressing your body!
you should never eat before you go to bed.. give yourself at least 3 hours from eating to sleeping.. Also.. BREAKFAST is the most important meal of the day.. that is no lie! If you dont eat breakfast really, dont even bother exercising during the day as you will work your *** off and achieve next to nothing.. IF you have breakfast it kick starts your metabolism! and your metabolism is what you need to control!
So Eat a healthy breakfast, go for a walk or run in the morning and/or at night.. during the day have a snack between breakky and lunch, have a small lunch then a snack and then have dinner.. you will feel the difference within a couple of days!

Skipping meals is never good because the tendency is you will end up eating more the next meal. It's better for your health to allow time after eating before you sleep to prevent heart burn, but I'm not sure about weight factors. Both running and walking will help you lose weight. Of course, running is more strenuous, but walking is also effective. As long as you exercise at least 30 minutes each day, you'll be fine. But it doesn't hurt to watch what you eat, too. Tip: get a full 8-9 hours of sleep, because studies show that people with a full night's sleep are lighter than people who only have a couple hours of sleep. The same for breakfast; people who eat breakfast tend to way less than people who don't.

It is never wise to skip a meal. It makes your body think you are starving it so it stores more of what it does eat as fat. Always eat your meals, just eat healthy and don't overeat. If you eat before bed, don't make it too close to bedtime and make that just a snack. Dinner should be eaten earlier in the evening.

Walking and running are both beneficial for losing weight. While running may be a little better for burning calories, it is much harder on your joints. Fast or power walking, will burn almost as many calories and saves a lto of wear and tear on your body.

If you are a female 1200 calories divided our into about 5 small meals a day would be good, make sure you get protein and all the basic food groups, 30 minutes a day of exercise to keep in shape is good. For a man maybe 1400 calories a day and the same exercise.

Eat before 7:30 pm and eat normal serving sizes. Not eating causes the munchies and that is bad. Stop when you feel full or before that feeling. As far as running versus walking - running burns mroe faster than walking so it depends on which method you prefer - both will get you there eventually.

not eating dinner will not suit you even though it looses weight.. i am very lean, because i do not eat breakfast.... running and walking are the good thing you ever have to keep on. do eat some honey early in the morning it helps to reduce weight as well as increase intelligence.you should substitute non-veg, with many veg items..must exclude fast foods and too much fat and oil...
not eating before going to bed is a good habit to keep your health and it gives you a good sleep.

Technically, weight being bad is impossible....it's just not to your liking!

I suggest you eat healthier food, smaller portions and maybe do some exercise instead of sitting at your computer hoping somebody will give you some miracle weight loss/gain problem.

You should continue to eat...

Stopping eating will slow or stop your metabolism... (the rate at which you burn calories)

Eat a larger lunch, and a smaller dinner, and become active in the evening...

YOU SHOULDN'T STARVE YOURSELF. YOU CAN EAT DINNER JUST NOT AFTER EIGHT AND TRY NOT TO EAT ANYTHING HIGH IN SUGAR OR STARCHES. EAT LOTS OF VEGGIES AT DINNER SO YOU GET FULL FASTER AND SO YOU DON'T OVEREAT. AND START OFF WALKING THEN RUN AFTER YOU GET USE TO EXERCISING.
