On our 100th day anniversary I wrote up 100 reasons why I love him. He wasn't expecting it at all and loved every reason.
* got this idea from combining two of my favorite ideas on this website! I realized after reading an idea about this couples 100th day anniversary, my boyfriend and I's 100th day anniversary was coming up. I typed up 100 reasons why I love him and cut out each one out. Then, I blew up 100 balloons, and put one reason in each balloon. He had to pop them to find the next one. I had a balloon that said START which was kind of an introduction to the game and one that said END which contained a large note that said "I love you" on it. The setting this whole time was in my bedroom with candles lit and blankets down with a picnic basket fully prepared--an indoor picnic in the bedroom with 100 reasons why I love JT right in front of him!
* was thinking of a way to celebrate my 2 1/2 year anniversary with the woman I love, and tried to figure out how many days it had been since we've been dating. I went to a calendar website, and found out 2 1/2 years is just shy of 1000. I found out that our 1000 day anniversary will be on July 14, and I've developed a plan for that day. I'm going to buy 1000 silk rose petals, and a silver calligraphy pen, and write "I love you" on each one. It'll take a while, but I told her that I didn't want to go a day without saying I love you
*This has never happened to me before but is my idea of an incredibly romantic gesture. If you want to be really romantic to your girlfriend on whatever anniversary you want, buy her 1000 yellow daisies (or a flower that she likes) and have them put in a room in her house or office as a surprise. It might be a little expensive but she will love it!
*For our 1-year anniversary, I was away at a tournament. When I got back home 3 days later, I entered my room to find my boyfriend had hung hearts of different sizes from my ceiling from different lengths. He had cut out 21 hearts- 20 each said "5%" on one side and on the other, reasons why he loved me such as "your smile." The biggest heart hanging at the entrance to my room said "22%" (my favorite number) and "I love you for being you." It added up to 122%. It was by far the best gift ever!
*The traditional wedding gift for the first year of marriage is paper. I had saved every love note and card my husband had ever given me. Even the ones before we got married. I found a simple letterbox at an antique store. I filled the box with all the letters, which I gave to him the night of our anniversary. He cried, and he never cries!
*This anniversary was important to me because it was the longest relationship I've ever had. I bought her the movie we saw on our first date and added my ticket stub with it. I also gave her a hand-written card. I wrote, "I love you" in 24 different languages (one for every week we've been together) and said, "No matter how many different ways there are to say it, there aren't enough ways for me to truly express how much I love you." She loved it. We're still together going on 11 months.
*For our 25th wedding anniversary, I started 25 days before our anniversary, with one rose and a note stating that it was 25 days to our 25th. A few days later I sent 2 roses and a note stating the number of days to 25. I repeated this procedure for 3 roses, 4 roses, and 5 roses and on our 25 anniversary a note stating my love and the final 10 roses. (1+2+3+4+5+10=25). I did the same thing for our 30th anniversary, only ending with 15 to make 30. I am in the process of doing so for our 35th coming in June this year (2004) only this time it works out to be able to send one note every 5 days up to 10 days before (with 10 roses) and the final 10 on our 35th. I am using the suggestion of one of your submitters for the final 10 to spread candy kisses in a trail to the shower, with the final note of "I have kissed the ground you walked on and showered you with flowers, how about …" and my request for 35 more years. She loves every time the roses arrive.
*On our wedding night last year, I gave my husband a decorative box with 365 slips of green paper. Each had a reason written on it as to why I love him. I promised him that on every anniversary I will refill the box with 365 new slips of paper written during the year. He looks forward to reading it every night, I enjoy writing them and I can't wait to fill the box up again on our anniversary!
*For our one year, anniversary, I made Ben a book of 365 reasons why I had fallen in love with him. I used index cards held together with those book rings that teachers use. I decorated each card with stickers, and wrote reasons why I loved him: lots of memories of sweet things he'd done, personality traits, etc. He loves it!
-----------hope it helps! all such good ideas! hope u find one u can use! good luck and congrats!

Well there are so many things you can do. You could always do a photo album of the both of you and add like funny captions and do it like a scrapbook and put down all the details of your relationship starting out when you first met. Like get the napkin of the restaurant where you first went to dinner, movie stubs, all that stuff in the relationship that you saved and the memories that you both remember. This is very personal and definatly requires effort and he will definatly appreciate that. And then you can get him a gift as well.

That is such a cool idea!! Before I tell you my idea, congradulations on your fitfth anniversary!!!!! lol. Okay, so my idea is that if you want to get a tattoo to do something with wood, stick with the tree idea, it is so unique. But, to make the tattoo even more special, i would have them tattoo a heart in the center of the tree with you and and hubbys initials!! i think personally that it would be so cool and speical. Hope i have helped you. Have a glamorous day!!!

There are 5 love languages. So does he feel loved when you give him something, do something for him, do something with him, listen to him, or encourage him. Once you zone into an area, then you take an interest of his and validate it with a personal sacrifice by you. For my husband's last birthday, I took 1/2 of my operating account for my business and bought him a bike. He loves biking. I don't really like biking, but he does. When we first got married I made him a fourth of july cake, because when he was ten he missed out winning a Flag cake at a cake walk. You'll figure something out.

If he likes sports, surprise him with tickets to his favorite team.
If he likes music, get him concert tickets for his favorite band.
Leave him notes all over the place leading to you in the bedroom.
Take him to his favorite restaurant and then treat him to a romantic massage at home.
Send him racy emails or a sexy pic and pamper him when he gets home.

Concert or game tickets. Make him a special dinner, with a massage afterwards. Wash his car, wash his hair ;)

Go to one of those gift shops and ask the salesperson...it would help if they knew something about him.
