not a lot shorter, maybe same height or a bit shorter
i'm not really a vocal person too so it may be very intimidating for me
by the way, i'm 5'8

I've been short all my life. I'm 5'6 now, I was always the shortest guy in my class in school. It was awful. One day I had an epiphany... who I am has nothing to do with my height and I can't change it. Since I can't change it, It's ridiculous to fret over it. I never thought about it again. I learned to strive to be the best person I could at everything I do. And you know know what?
I married the person that I wanted more than anything in the world and we're perfectly happy. She sees what's important and it's not how tall I am or how much money I have....
Now then, I will say thatme, you, and everyone else find certain attributes of the opposite sex attractive. Some girls like tall guys, some guys like girls with big boobs (OK, most guys). My point is that we all find different things attractive but a quality person sees into your soul, sees the virtues you have that make you the person you really are. I would say to you (because I've been there brother) learn to let the real you show. Be who you are. To hell with everyone and their opinions. There will be people who don't like you, but there'll be people who do. If you ask a woman what she'd look for in a partner, height usually isn't important. They look for someone who's smart, funny, loyal, honest, has respect for himself and others.... basically a good person. Just be a good person. I promise you'll find what you're after:)

I like men who are not tall, I date them all the time.
I know tall men are not all the same, but society really puts them on a pedestal, Good one!, and some of them are arrogant.
Lots of women like guys for reasons other than height.
Oh yeah, and hot girls do so date nice guys! But nice guys have to ask them out...remember don't leave a nice girl sitting alone on a Saturday night.

5'8 isn't that all short. Honestly though, there is something comforting about a guy being taller than you. Even just a little bit.

I'm used it, I'm 5'11 without heels or anything so a lot of guys are a little shorter
