Actually you can enter most casinos at any age. You just can not go to the gaming floor or play. Casinos like Circus Circus actually have areas for kids.
Casinos on tribal land allow 18 year olds and up to play.

I'm a pit boss of a big casino in califonia, there are a few casino's here that let 18 year olds play, The main reason though is the serving of alchohol, casino's dont want to take the risk or all the work of keeping track of who is old enough to drink or not though in Nevada they just have a state law stating that you have to be 21 to do any wagering at a gaming establishment so there the casinos do not have a choice.

I was in The Orleans Casino last month. An underaged blonde chick tried to order at the bar. She was escorted completely out of the casino area.
Funny thing was, she acted shocked when the bartender told her she couldn't be anywhere inside casino or near the bars.
The age to drink and play is 21 in Vegas. Funny, I've been doing it since I was 18 without a challenge. I looked older than my age.

Because just like drinking, which they give you drinks in casinos, you must be 21 because it's the law! You'll need plenty of money to loose when you reach 21 so, save for 2 more years.

depends on which kind of casino it is. I know there are a few in Michigan that are on Indian Reservations that you only have to be 18..
