Despite Susan Dey's good looks, for me, The Monkees all the way.
Both groups suffered from too much outside (corporate) interference, but at least the Monkees had more real musicians (Tork, Nesmith in the begining, although in time Dolenz really did learn how to play the drums) than the Partridges. All Shirley and David Cassidy could do was sing.

The shows are too different to compare!!! I love the family setting and the values taught on the Partridge Family-except the Reuben guy-and David Cassidy was hot. The Monkees were alot of fun and really made me laugh!!!
I like both of them!!!! I liked the music on both shows
