There is no right or wrong way to feel. But if you do start to feel sad, make sure you talk about it with someone. And remember, your parents getting divorce doesnt change that they love you.

People handle things in lots of different ways. If your parents are unhappy and arguing alot. You may be feeling a sense of relief. Therefore it's hard for you to feel sad. Maybe you're just mature enough to know that some people are better apart than together. Some part of you may know deep down that this is what's better for everyone. Just be glad that you can be strong and not fall apart. It makes things alot better all the way around. If you do start to feel sad later, just pray for God to give you peace of mind and go with it. This would also be a normal feeling to have.

It's not that you "should" feel sad. All situationns are different. When my mom and dad split I was happy! They both had just been so miserable for so long, that I was glad that it was over.
Don't beat yur self up because they are splitting up. You don't really say how you do feel.
Don't freak out if you never feel sad. Or even bad about it.
It may get a little wierd sometimes. There is a lot to deal with in this situation. Just talk to someone if you need to, to help you put your feelings in order.

Your feelings depend on the circumstances. You may find yourself taking turns with several strong emotions, relief, guilt, fear, hurt, anger, etc.
Everything is going to change now, part of this will force you to make adult decisions you didn't need to consider before. You may also find yourself at the center of your parent's disagreement or find them in need of your attention to validate their own self-worth.
Try and stay cool, be honest with them and don't let them force you to choose sides, if that comes up look for anyplace else to go visit for a while.

If it is not there yet it will come .(the hurt that is) I hope you have a strong older brother, sister, uncle, aunt, grandparents etc. to help you through it. Just stay close to both parents that helps the most. Don't blame either one of your parents and remember this is their failure not yours. Good luck kid. God be with you.

not if there was abuse. If none, give yourself time to come to terms with what is happening, you will feel the right emotions at the right time.
