Simply put, we can't. Israel was founded back in the forties, and their formation displaced a lot of Islamic people. There is a ton of ill will on both ends, because the Muslims do not want Israel there, and the Israelis want to be there. Although there seems to be some cooperation sometimes, but it quickly dissolves in war-like actions. Eventually there might be an agreement reached, but one side or another will lash out and again they will start battling. Happened with Yizak Rabin.
