I need a dress for a wedding I'm going to. I'm 21, so I'd like something mid-calf to knee length, but nothing old fashioned. I wear a size 0 to a size 4, depending on the store and the dress. I really appreciate any sites that you can recommend!

No, I am not in the wedding. My husband is though, so I would like to look equivalent to him in his tux, if that makes any sense!

Spiegel(.com, i guess) has really nice stuff, kinda mid-to-high priced. there's always department stores like Dillard's and Penny's. you could go to a magazine website like LuckyMag, and browse the archives for good sites to online stores.

p.s., personally i love the "old fashioned" and long flowing. i got what could be a prom dress, or even just a formal without the fuss, at a vintage store in Oklahoma City when i was on my way to Mexico. its long and lean at the top, but has a wide prairie like bottom, and has a small pattern of attractive paisley in yellow, blue and brown. my boyfriend says it's sooo hott. just put long and flowing or a cool vintage in your considerations!!

Try the bridal dept at a dept store like Macy's or go to David's Bridal. They have prom type dresses and formal wear.

JcPennys has some really nice dresses at a reasonable price, I would try their first. Sometimes E-Bay has some really nice stuff in your size too. Make sure you get measurements before buying so your sure it fits.

depends what your budget is.. i like banana republic (they have petite sizes).. "betsey johnson" if you got the money ($300+ i think).. macy's (cheapest out of all) in the juniors dept has elegant but still fashionable dresses too. hope you find a nice one!
