It is an essential trade agreement. Unfortunately, the parties don't always abide by its terms. For example, notwithstanding losing every NAFTA hearing in the recent softwood lumber dispute, the USA still refused to abide by the terms of NAFTA. I love the USA, but SHAME on it for blocking trade.

NAFTA actually only benefits the US .What is traded free .we got screwed on softwood and now with the new so called deal we will have more penalties on value added wood products that weren't there be for .such as cedar products and flooring.will all cost us buyers more .so who wins. no one.

It's a joke. If they did it right, the people of Mexico wouldn't be fleeing over here. And the country might actually rid itself of all that horrible corruption.

i think it the worst idea ever. Now jobs can go down to shithole countries and pay 2 cents an hour to some spanish loser.

I think the US got the shaft, we sent money and good to mexico that was made by the mexicans that we got from mexico in the deal.
