American Greetings has it whereas when you send one of their greetings to someone it auomatically e-mails you back that your greeting had been opened.

I'm not sure about you, but I find this to be a great tool knowing, if or when, someone has checked their mail.

I'm tired of people saying that they didn't open their mail when you know damn well they did. And no; I'm not getting parinoid. How about when it's business. When someone is working for you, not getting things done, and using this as an excuse. It's enough to piss you off! I know I'm not alone with...

Does anyone feel my pain???

Or how about someone you know that never - ever turns their phone off tells you that their batteries must be dead or they had it turned off!

And don't even write in and say I should hire someone else. I'm talking in general for everybodys benefit.

And off the subject, but isn't it annoying that this section doesn't have spell check

Today: not LOL, just list me simply as annoyed!

you can set your email to automatically request a receipt.. but.. people do not always send one.. they can have their software automatically "never send receipt" even when they open it....

the greeting card people know when someone opens your card because they have to go to the link provided in order to get the card graphics... and their website gets a "hit" at the specific address of the card you sent to them...
