Where did u get that statistic? If that were true, I would guess that women need alot more attention than u think!!!!

I would not say more, but close enough and catching up to the rate of married men who cheat.
Cheating stem from various reasons, including not be satisfied physically or more so emotionally with their mate.
There are other reasons....
1. Poor to no sex life
2. Lost of passion in the relationship
3. Simply feeling not loved by your partner
4. Husband is never home
5. Never get to spend quality time together
6. Spending too much times with childbearing and lost the courtship with your husband.
7. Husband is inattentive
8. Lack of and/or fear of intimacy
9. Lack or no emotional and sexual bond

with financial parity comes freedom, and that means the freedom to make good and bad choices, that and there is no finacial penalty for women if they cheat and get caught, it cannot be brought in as a cause of divorce as most states are no fault states, therefore a women can cheat on her husband, divorce him and take him to the cleaner with no penalty. the feminst made sure of this when the divorce laws were amneded to no fault status. the net effect was ripping down any sort of moral barrier that kept a women from cheating, now she had the freedom to do so and finacially could afford it. the rates of women cheating have been climbing ever since. indeed it no longer viewed as bad thing when women do cheat, showsl ike sex in the city, desperate housewife are wildly popular as they tap into the underlying current of women wanting to do what men have done for so many years, so now they take the bold lead, they are no longer the shy and held back housewive, but are brought up to be in the media as heroins who are liberated sexually with no restriant and a role model for other women to follow. in doing so they have made it worse for themselves, by lowering there status to common whore and the common man will not repsect them and women in general. in effect all women, good and bad pay for there sins.

Same reason men cheat on women - they are unfaithful, have no value of the relationship, no respect for the vows they took and are just plain STUPID!!!!!
