While us ladies were changing in the locker room at the gym, we were told to prepare because a maintainence man was coming in, to do some quick work. There was a lady who was naked in the Sauna, who was not warned, and she could be seen by the Man, as he did his work.

That is just SOOO wrong! I work at a gym...and that would never be allowed!! Our maintenance guy comes in at 430 in the AM to do all the maintence stuff he cannot do during the day. If an emergent issue comes up, we clear the locker room completely before any male is allowed to enter.

technically, the gym owners/mgnt are responsible. they allowed and sent the maintanence worker in the locker room with women present. naturally, if it is a place that the female patrons feel they have privacy, and normally and customarily are afforded privacy at this gym in the locker room. if that was violated then anyone that feels they were violated by this maintanence workers presence would certainly have a valid issue requiring the attention of said mgmnt/owner. they can argue that they advised that the worker was coming in, etc. obviously they didn't do a good job of it, and it is best to schedule the maintanence when women wouldn't be in the locker room, or make sure they are all prepared before entrance.

You were given warning. She missed the warning. Not a huge deal.
