Put it in the bank and pretend you never received it. Then work hard and put another $2,000 in the bank. After that, spend the first $2,000, but you probably won't want to becuase you'll have a concept of what money is worth. :)

Is the gift $2000, or is it worth that much? Either way I'd keep it. But if the gift was money I'd probably save it for a rainy day.

I'd use some of it to catch up on bills and hopefully stash 1000 in a bank account in case of an emergency.

Most likely I'd put it in the bank for college but I'd be tempted to buy a motorscooter or a really nice TV with it. Possibly a new bed or chair.

I think I'd throw a party, rent a swanky place where the good folk can dance, get a band playing; drinks and food; do it up right and stay up all night! Jeez I sure do like a party and particularly a two thousand dollar party.

Pay my daughters tuition for a good private education this year. Or, pay off the bills, then ease through the tuition costs. Either way, she's getting a good education!!

Probably pay my credit card bill with $1900 of it, then spend the rest on something nice for me and my bf.

2000? i would probably put it in the bank and use it for all my extra expenses, ie.. gas, food, kids school supplies, it would help me catch up on things using it that way so my pay could just take care of my bills. for 2 months.
