I'd say honey blonde. With platinum one takes the risk of having their brown eyes unattractively overpowered by the 'brightness' of the color. With honey, there's a pleasant contrast that manages to enhance and not detract from the comparatively dark coloring of the eyes :).

Here you can find a (black and white, I'm sorry!) picture of Ashley Jones from The Bold and the Beautiful. She had to go from brown to very blond to play the role of Bridget Forrester, who's blond. As you can see, the startling blondness makes her eyes look black (true, the picture is in black and white, but it was the only one I could find right off).
So I think probably honey blond would be a good first step.

Honey blonde, usually. And dress her in forest green and earth tones. And teach her to shoot a bow and play a lute. Yeh.
Platinum blonde needs to be showcasing blue eyes. Good in silver and black. Teach her to shoot some kind of AR-15, like a Colt Carbine or Commando, and teach her to play a piccolo.

Brown, a organic darkish yellow, looks outstanding with blonde (yellow) hair. It contraptions the body into monochromatic colour team spirit. What colour eyes? eco-friendly? Brown? Blue? If you have to go blonde, I would say honey blonde. Platinum just looks, well, CHEAP.

acctually it depends on your skin tone. if you are light skinned, a honey blonde might work. if you are dark, a brown is good.
