It would depend, but I am certain that you have equal ownership. Sometimes though you can both own all of it--this is usually reserved for those times when you want to sell it.

In Ca. both names are equal. If it says John doe AND Jane doe they both have to sign to sell. If it says John OR Jane either and only one has to sign.
