i have a alot of guy friends and when get mad at you want you telll when they are wrong what is that

Lack of confidence, fear, and rejection!
When you display that characteristic only - you are scared - fearful that you can't maintain a relationship any other way - if you can maintain the relationship - that means you fear rejection - they won't be a part of the group - confidence - just don't believe they are worthy - just because they are - feel they can't live up to their own expectations - therefore they won't live up to the expectations of the group! So to appear as if they know everything - is the only way to validate their worth - it's a lie of course - but it's a continuous cycle because the individual that does it and the members of the group allow the behaviour to be maintained - therefore no one has to deal with their issues = equals a bunch of dysfunctional people feeding off of each other!

I love women! But,I have to tell you. Men have invented almost everything we have today. It's not that women can't. They just don't. Have you thought about how long it would have taken women to build the Golden Gate Bridge? Or Hoover Dam. Or a submarine? You get the picture. But, men do all this ,because of women. Without them there would be no desire for anything.

Ego, pride. They may know that they're wrong, just not willing to admitt it.
The reason that women haven't invented much is simply because men didn't let them (stay home, take care of the chidlren). Now it's getting better, slowly, so more inventions by women will spring up in the future.

Because school just teach kids self esteem. As a result they are cocky and think the world resolves around them.

See that's where you are wrong guys don't think that they know it all. "They know that they know it all!"
So I would say that my answer is, no guys don't think that they know it all. Because then we would not know it all if we thought we did.
Knowing that you know it all is just plain, "knowing it all."
But to think that we do, then gives an inclination that we are not sure whether or not we do know it all or not!
