It was 101 in Austin, Texas, heat index I think about 115. Yesterday it was 104. But in 1955 on July 18 it was 106, so we didn't break any records. And on July 23, 1994 it was 103 - I remember because I got married, outdoors, with a long-sleeved wedding gown, and X number of petticoats, and boy was I feelin' it!
Oh yes, my brother is in South Dakota, and it was, what, 110 a couple of days ago? Go figure!

wow florida is suppose to be hotter
not so today we had rain most of the day
91 for the high
add the humidity and its miserable here
we had a kid die last week and a man today get hit by lighting
so we feel the effects of the heat and rain
