Are there any creative non behind desk careers out there???

Hi. I am really interested in the field of graphic design, cg, animation, etc. Thing is, all of these jobs involve sitting behind a desk from 9 to 5. As do most jobs in the USA. Are there any creative careers out there that are more outgoing?

The fact that many, if not most of these jobs involves sitting behind a desk working on a computer isn't suprising at all. The creativity comes from YOUR actual ideas and designs, of which most are computer generated.

However, I do know of some who travel on business, which does get them out of the office, but the field of graphics design and related ones does involve mostly sitting in front of a computer working on your designs. Just goes with the territory.

Perhaps you can look into project work in this area to find one that may involve some traveling. Other jobs allow you to attend conferences and training events, which also help get you out of the office for a while.
