Busy yourself as much as you can. Discover some new hobbies. Work out whenever you can. Have good cries to girlfriends & family members. Get yourself out among people as much as possible. Pop some prozac & sleeping pills for a while to get you over the hump, if its affecting your life that much. DO NOT have a rebound relationship. DO NOT under any circumstances call him. Know that this man is not the last one you will love. Learn from this experience & grow. With every good-bye, you learn. Go to this website & read the poem everytime you get sad. (Search yahoo: "Comes the Dawn, poem")

Expect a miracle everyday. Pray in your room and start inside yourself that Divine right action will be with you. This is the Spirit. Be patient, the right one will come. When it does you will know. Just like John the Baptist; he knew when the Messiah would come because he would see the Spirit of the Lord above it's head, a dove.

Forgive and move on. If you think of the good times, you will have those good times again. Just like Christ suffered you too have to suffer. Withstand the pain and endure. You will live. The Father says he will never leave you. This He promises.

Good luck

I've lost count of the number of times I've been left heartbroken since then, countless nights of sharing my tears with the pillow. The older i grow, the more vulnerable i've become. But life is not without its healing touch, in the laughter of loved ones, the kind words of a friend and the beauty of music. I do know that the heart can swell although its aching and still be whole even if it's broken.

Only time and lots of it. The grief is like losing a loved one to death so expect the pain and expect it to be good one day and bad another. Only time truely heals a heart. Which is trite but true. Stay busy too - that helps the time move on.

don't call him, no matter what. get with your girls and just have fun. go out to eat, go to the movies, the beach. flirt w/ as many guys as possible, but don't give any your number just dedicate this summer as the summer with no boys! many years ago when i was 18, my boyfriend who i loved cheated on me. i rented a place down the shore & told all my girlfriends to come down, but do not tell any of the boys, no boys allowed. let me tell you that was the best summer of my life. for once we girls weren't sitting around waiting to see if the boys were around. we totally had a crazy summer with lots of funny memories i will always cherish.

well there really isn,t an answer for heart ache, but you can focus on an unfinished hobby or start something that you were never able to do,pamper yourself, surround yourself with positive people, stay away from people that the both of you were mutual friends of,improve on your looks hair style, clothes etc.,and stay away from the things that will trigger the slightest memory of the two of you.....good luck

Time, a long time, maybe if you met someone else it would make it easier. It's a horrible feeling inside. I find if I read articles that pertain to breaking up it helps me.
