A couple of weeks ago BoA stole $3,400 from my sister, so i was just wondering does any one really like BoA since today we went to report it to the police department and then to my BoA branch and we found 2 other people who had their money stolen. Please whatever you do DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH BANK OF AMERICA or you do run the chance of your money disappearing. I also did a little research and BoA got sued for stealing money from people who recieve SSI. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH BANK OF AMERICA

I doubt that Bank of America "stole" your sister's money. In all great likelyhood, your sister was caught by a "phishing" scheme. What that means is that she was sent an email that LOOKED like it was from Bank of America, but redirected her to a 3rd party website where she then entered her personal banking information. Bank of America was sued for using SSI to pay legitimate banking charges, such as bounced checks. Apparently SSI income is protected from bank charges.

It was NOT Bank of America that stole the money, it was a dishonest employee with criminal intentions.
Working around money is too tempting for some weak people and they help themselves to other's money that's in their bank and savings accounts. They finally get caught and go to jail.
I've been an account holder with Bank of America since 1973 and have NEVER, I repeat NEVER had a problem.
So, don't blame the bank, blame the criminal element and dishonest employee who could not resist the temptation.
ALL banks at one time or another have had this problem.

DO NOT BANK with them!
They are P"URE EVIL and work to steal money form your account by manpulation of your transactions, holding deposits, zapping transactions from you your account than putting them back in days later when You though thte transaction was already deducted from your balance, they acctually "lost" my deposti that It did in cash at the counter and had me running around to "find" it and once they admiteed the error they still took a month to put my money in my account (they put my money in someone elses account) they never formally apologied they wanted me to sypathize with them! Even though I was the one that couldn't use my own money and they would not credit my account isntantly when they found the misdeposited funds. i spent hours onthe phoen with them, days sitting inthe branch at lunch hour to try to get my money back, it wasn't stolen BA lost it and without my littel slip to prove it they said "you never made the deposit" what the Hello! I have the slip to prove it, it's not liek I even did it at the atm I did it at the counter.

If you ever ask for them to credit you for a transaction that shouldn't be on your account they give you provisional credit and thatn ALWAYS reverse it and falsly deny peoples claims. The reversal gives them a new oppuritunity to force it before completed transactions whcih than "bounces" each and every little transaction you did that "comes in" after they dated the reversal. They love it 35.00 a pop.

I short save your self money frustration, anger and your helath DO NOT BANK OF AMERICA!!!

Check on-line for the many many lawsuits and fraud claims with them they are even tied to Enron. Even Wikipedia desribes their banking practices tht maximize the possible of being overdrawn and fee'd to death.
