Why do gay men think that there all that? Most of them think there so cool and can say whatever they want and no one can bad mouth them. Like Tyler from the Real World Key West. he is mean to everyone else in the house, but when they put him in his place he doesnt like it.

Ok, I'm glad you said you weren't stereotyping. Gay men do tend to have a lot of confidence. I think it's a defense mechanism. They figure that they're going to get sh*t from people, so they're constantly walking around ready for it. I don't think it's fair to say "most" are like that, but some are, yes. That's the only reason I can think of why. And you're totally right, Tyler is the perfect example.

Not all gay men are like that. And Tyler is one of many gay men in the world. He might just feel better putting others down. And every gay male I know has a different personality. The few that I know that model think they're the **** because...they're fabulous models... no offense to any models that aren't self centered... but others are very meek and humble. SOme are a mixture of the two.

Do you really think that people chosen to be on a reality show are representative of their various groups?
If so, then what do you make of the fact that the overt Christians on reality shows are usually the most cutthroat and nasty (one need only look to BIG BROTHER, TREASURE HUNTERS or the family season of THE AMAZING RACE to see this). Should we generalize from this and assume that all Christians are nasty cheaters?
No? Then why do you assume that all gay men are like Tyler or BIG BROTHER's Marcellus?
Most gay men I have met are pretty normal.

Why do you generalize in your first sentence and then get angry because people call you on it?
If Tyler is the one you are mad at, why don't you focus on his behavior instead of transfering it to every gay man? That is bigotry. You wouldn't say all white guys are crazy because Tom Cruise is, now would you?

That's a sterotype. Yeah some gay guys have to be the center of attention and are always like "I know everything" and "I'm always right" and can be really mean to others, but so can some straight guys, just in a more football jock kind of way rather then a pissy drag queen kind of way.

I can not stand it when people stereo type other people. That is like asking "why are all men pigs and cheaters", "why are all women bitc#s", "why are all people who wear turbans terrorists". Gay men are not all the same, just like people of color and other nationalities and religions are not all the same. Some gay men really are bitchy. Those particular ones would probably be bitter if they were straight as well.

Its so damn annoying. They think they are the prettiest girl in the whole world no matter how ugly and GAY they are.
