I would have to agree with you...I have seen George Lopez do stand up and was there for the live act CM did in SF earlier this year...CM totally kicks ***! He is my fav!

Carlos Mencia is one of the funniest comedians ever!
He's so honest and his voice and hand gestures!!! He can tell a funny story like the best of them.

Peter Kay is funnier than countless the older comedians. no longer certain about Ricky Gervais - he don't have nicely-known charm. notwithstanding, interior the previous due Nineteen Seventies/early Eighties there have been some very humorous comedians like Ronnie Barker (no-one else comes on the point of him), Mike Yarwood (fantastic impressionist) and that i'd cost those 2 over any of on the prompt's comics.

Mencia is too much with the insults and the racial stereotypes.
Stephen Colbert is both intelligent and funny.
Dave Chappelle does some very funny stuff that has a kind of experimental feel to it.
