I used to work at a body piercing place, and as far as I could gather; everyone has a different pain threshold, but most people's eyes just watered for a second. The nasal skin is so soft it is over within 2 minutes, that's the piercing and the stud put in. One piece of advice, only do it if it's what you really want, not because all your friends are getting it done or it's the latest fashion trend. Goodluck

I know someone who did it when they got tired of it took it out the hole closed over all ugly and is a permanent pimple like scar on the nose.

I haven't had mine pierced, but I'd guess from talking to friends of mine, the answer is YES.

not as bad as other piercings.
It depends on the person, though.
If you have zero pain tolerance (like me)
then it's definitely going to hurt.
But if you don't mind a little bit of pain,
then go for it.
Better your nose than your tounge!

Pain is relative. I thought it hurt, but didn't think navel or nipples or anything on my ears did.

It will sting and your eyes will water, but that is a natural reaction.
