Smile at everyone you meet, say hello, hold doors open for others, and more. It doesn't take much to brighten a persons day. That alone may be enough to change someone else's attitude - and they may do the same for others. It's a domino effect!

I think you should make an honest effort to be a good person everyday. Try holding the door open for a someone, waving at a neighbor, or even a smile and a "Hi" to a stranger.....it all adds up. I think it's the small things that count!! GREAT question!!!

In your corner of the world, you can make a big impact. You can make your world kinder, and more considerate by being in it.

As a younger person, people I now consider angels, were so kind to me without expecting anything in return. They changed my life for the better just by being there and being kind to me.

Now, I enjoy helping out others with a kind word, or action. I know it makes a difference.

Believe it or not...but the simplest act is to just smile at someone. I'm an average looking, cute, young woman who lives/works in NYC. As I passed an elderly man dressed in seersucker suit and hat one summer day, our eyes met and I smiled at him. And he was very pleased that he could still catch the eye of a young woman. I made his day, and you know what...he made my day too. Young men should smile at elderly ladies in the same manner. The positive power of such a simple act!

Do good things for people. Like if someone doesn't have enough money for a bus fare offer to pay it. Just do little things because that person will remember it and they will be happpy (and yeh pay it forward, with out feeling obiliged)

help people out
talk and listen to people

you will be amazed how your little part of the world improves
people will follow your example and like to be around you

hopefully you do not live in a big city or commute so people notice your good deeds

Have a good attitude... it is infectious.

The next is straight from "Pay It Forward": Make a Difference to someone's life and if you can ask them to do the same.

The ripple effect may make some waves.
