Kobe Bryant is, without question, a big ball-hog.

And if he continues to play the way he does, then he has seen his last championship. It reminds me of the 1980's, when Jordan used to score 40-50 points a game, and lose to Boston and Detroit everytime. One player will NEVER beat five! Kobe has to find a way to get his teammates involved more.

Basketball is about ball movement, and getting the highest percentage shot. Kobe is apparantly unaware of this, or maybe he is just more interested in personal stats than wins. His lifetime shooting ptg. of 45% is evidence of this.

And no, you can't score 81 points and not be a ball hog. And considering that we now have the three point shot, its even less impressive than when Wilt played. I would have been more impressed if Kobe went 35 points... 15 rebounds.....15 assists.....5 steals.

Now that's a complete player!

YES, he is a major ball hog! He had the Lakers get rid of Shaq so that he could have the spotlight on him, and to get more shots , and run the team. His selfishness is what is holding the Lakers back. When he did pass the ball in the playoffs this year, they did well. But ultimately, it has to be about Kobe, and he dragged the Lakers down. He needs to be a team player, pass the ball, and involve the whole team. LeBron and Dwayne Wade make their teams better by involving everyone. Kobe does neither.

I am a Canadian and I can explain that. The Raptors suck

I think he has to be a ball hog. I mean, he can't possibly win an NBA championship like that, but it's what he does

If you had an ego that big, you'd hog the ball too

Yeah he's a ball hog but so was Michael Jordan. Half of the greatest teams of all time had a ball hog. Jordan doesn't have the highest ppg average of all time from passing the ball to Paxson all the time.

He is definetely relied upon and his teammates want him to have the ball. He's a true genuine scorer. Reason why he scored so much was that the Raptors are terrible and that the Refs call many fouls.

Any star who would be on that team would have to do what he does. He carries his team. None of them have big game experience. Do you want him to pass the ball to Luke Walton?
He doesn't have the luxury to pass the ball to Shaq, Walker, Posey or J-Dub.
